my results are out

this semester's results is wayyyy better than semester 1
it was a simple countdown to results this time,
i did not give anyone outside NTU a notice to take note that results were being released last morning at 12am.

and it was particularly fulfilling to see the results with a couple of As.
and B+.
i think im the kind of person that improves as the semesters go, even with the difficulty level increasing.
weirdly enough, i find that somewhat assuring. Hopefully.

its good to know that at least my grades are being kept up. despite the many things that has been happening in my life.
knowing that academics has always been a constant, allowing me to always rely on it prevents my self esteem from gg to an all time low.
like when life seems really bleak, there will be a voice inside my head saying 'at least you have something up and it will never go away'

which is relatively true when you compare it to youth and beauty,
which is not as eternal as academics itself.
