university talk

the horrors of university talks beckons
i guess its good
cause it titillates my senses to start gearing up for universtiy.

went for the NUS FASS talk.
and i TELL YOU.
almost half the lecture hall was filled with science students
HELLO. why are u snatching our spots?
like we arent facing enough competition already.

the lecturer was pretty amusing
his name was bryan something something
haha, the first name got my attention span somewhere else for a few seconds
then when my distraction cleared, he was already on the 3rd slide. -.-

well, what caught my attention most what the rice bowl theory he talked about
many have the mentality that having an ART & SOCIAL SCIENCE degree wont get you anywhere far.
that we wont be able to get a decent job outta it
HELL NO!
haha, at least that was what the professor managed to convey to us.

today went by in a blur
i hope the next 86 days will go by quickly too.

and hope the visit to the doctor will go on smoothly. (:
